Hulk Hogan’s longtime beachfront mansion in Clearwater, Florida, has sold for $5.9 million — a substantial sum, and a long way from the nearly $11 million asking price that greeted buyers earlier this year. The sale, reported by TMZ, closed on 23 October 2026, fifteen months after Hogan’s death at 71 in July 2025.
It was not the only piece of Hogan’s beachfront real estate to change hands that day. The cottage next door sold for another $2.8 million. Whether the same buyer bought both properties is not clear from the reporting, so the two deals are best treated as separate sales that happened to close together — even though their combined $8.7 million is the headline number.

From Nearly $11 Million to $5.9 Million
The main residence at 1040 Eldorado Avenue entered the market on 30 January 2026 at $10.989 million. The cuts came steadily: $8,999,999 by 28 April, $7.9 million in June, $6.9 million in September. The eventual $5.9 million closing was another $1 million below that final ask — a 46.3% discount from the original price in less than nine months.
The cottage at 1038 Eldorado Avenue followed the same pattern. Hogan had bought it in 2016 for $1.6 million. It was listed on 30 March at $4.5 million, cut to $3.9 million in June, $3.7 million in August and $3.5 million in September, then sold for $2.8 million — $700,000 below its final ask and nearly 38% below its original listing.
Together, the two homes had initially been offered for $15.489 million. Their combined $8.7 million sale price came in $6.789 million below that total.
Inside the Beachfront Mansion
Built in 2009, the Mediterranean-style main house sits directly on Clearwater Beach: five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms across more than 5,000 square feet and three levels, with teak floors, marble and natural-stone finishes, a gas fireplace and a private elevator. The primary suite has a sitting area, a large walk-in closet and a private terrace facing the Gulf. Outside, nearly 1,500 square feet of covered living space, a heated pool and spa sit between the house and the sand.
The cottage is smaller but hardly modest: 2,062 square feet, three bedrooms, exposed wood beams, a fireplace, an updated kitchen and its own pool and spa overlooking the Gulf.
Still Millions Above What Hogan Paid
The price cuts look dramatic, but Hogan’s original purchases tell a kinder story. He paid $3.33 million for the mansion in 2012, so the $5.9 million sale is $2.57 million above what he paid. The cottage’s $2.8 million sale is $1.2 million above its $1.6 million purchase price. Across both properties, $4.93 million of purchases became $8.7 million of sales — a $3.77 million difference before renovations, taxes, insurance, maintenance and selling costs.
Hogan had bought the Clearwater mansion after selling a much larger home in nearby Belleair for $6.2 million in 2012 — the sprawling waterfront estate featured on “Hogan Knows Best,” the reality series that brought his family life to television. The Clearwater purchase traded size for sand: a smaller house directly on the beach.
His family remains in the public eye — daughter Brooke Hogan and ex-wife Linda Hogan both have their own profiles — but the Clearwater chapter is now closed. The nearly $11 million mansion sale envisioned at the start of the year never materialized. What did materialize was $5.9 million for the house, $2.8 million next door, and sale prices comfortably above what Hogan originally paid — the same pattern as the Kris Jenner mansion relist, where celebrity asking prices met a market with its own ideas.
Sources and notes: Sale prices, listing history and property details from TMZ’s reporting (October 2026), corroborated by multiple wrestling and real estate outlets; purchase prices from county records as reported. Combined $8.7 million figure assumes both sales together; reporting does not confirm a single buyer for both properties. Net proceeds after mortgages, costs and obligations are not disclosed.
